Next up in our Music Instructor Spotlight series is violin and viola instructor Matt Dahm!
Matt's passion for the violin started at a young age when he joined the Suzuki program in his hometown of Stevens Point, WI. Since then, he has achieved many notable accomplishments that have solidified his reputation as a highly skilled musician.
Matt has been a violinist with the Madison Symphony Orchestra since 2004, one of America's leading regional orchestras. He is also a violinist for the Madison Savoyards, Ltd, a local theater company that specializes in Gilbert and Sullivan operas.
Despite his busy performance schedule, Matt has always made time for teaching. He has been a teacher at the Monroe Street Arts Center since 2008, where he has helped countless students discover their love for music. His teaching approach is patient and encouraging, and he always strives to create a supportive and positive learning environment.
Matt's dedication to his craft and his passion for teaching have inspired countless students over the years, and his impact will undoubtedly continue to be felt for years to come.
