Kathy received her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance on a Summer Music Clinic Scholarship in 2003 and her Master’s in Vocal Performance in 2005, both from UW-Madison. She has sung in Austria in the AIMS program and in Italy with the La Lyrica Musica program for operatic studies. She has also been a church musician for Covenant Presbyterian in Madison, Stoughton United Methodist Church and is currently the Assistant Music Director for Christ Lutheran Church in Stoughton, WI. Lastly, Kathy is coming to MSAC from the Stoughton Center for the Arts where she has taught voice and piano since 2005. She lives on the west side of Madison with her husband Omar and their son Micah and is a proud soccer and karate Mom!
