**MSAC is looking for volunteers for our 2014 Summer Art Program**
We are seeking volunteers, 17 and older, who have a background in art and experience working with children. UW and Edgewood College Education students are encouraged to apply. We accept interns as well. Interested? See the volunteer information and application below.
For the past 15 years, the Monroe Street Arts Center has enjoyed the support, energy, and knowledge of wonderful volunteers from our community and area colleges, particularly Edgewood College. People who, like us, love kids and want to further the art center’s mission to engage a community of learners in exploring the arts and developing the creative self.
With our many group classes, including Toddler and Preschool Art, Kindergarten Art, Afterschool Art, Homeschool Art and Music, Clubhouse, Sewing Club, and Music Together, Open Art Studios, OASis, private music lessons, and our extensive summer program, MSAC is a very busy place. There are always opportunities for volunteers to assist our teachers. We are looking, in particular, for people who are currently enrolled in an education program or have experience in education and love working with kids!
