Oasis is MSAC’s inclusive art studio designed to accommodate students with varying needs. Our spacious art room comfortably accommodates students with different abilities and accessibility needs. Oasis is open to any student ages 6 and up. New this semester we also have a new program tailored for our older students! Instructors trained in art therapy lead each session. Beth Jesion, Art Therapy degree and Art Teaching license, and Jess Jacobson, Art Therapy degree, have extensive classroom experience. The instructors use their knowledge and expertise to ensure an age and ability appropriate experience. Thanks to the Capital Times Kids Fund, as well as the Madison Arts Commission grant funding, we are currently able to offer this program at no cost to the participants. However, donations are welcome. Oasis meets bi-monthly on Fridays from 4:00-5:30 PM during the school year.
